Inseparable from Roussanne, Marsanne is the white grape variety of Côtes du Rhône and in particular of Saint Joseph white. In Languedoc, Marsanne is used for its aromatic profile (hawthorn, acacia, honeyed notes) higher than Grenache Blanc or Maccabeu.
